…the 80s driven hit “D.O.G” - released in a maxi-single from Old Gold - was one of the tracks responsible for getting the label’s name on mix-tapes and spreading it all over the Internet. The music has dripping synths and lo-fi pads, all mixed with velvety vocals in a narco-pop envelope. Following that came Fiore’s debut “Gold We Hold” and “Skate with Me” from DGENETICS’ Dgenerate Nation project - a contagious soundtrack for a day at the beach. The label’s next release, due early 2008, is Gen V - a compilation of the four artists’ singles…
